Natural Horsemanship
This is a philosophy of working with horses using their instincts and natural herd behaviour to achieve your goals. It is not a training technique that you can leave at the arena gate once the lesson is over. It is about establishing trust and respect, creating an environment that allows the horse to learn for himself what it is you want through positive reinforcement. You are never going to achieve your training goals, instil the behaviour you want or have the kind of relationship you want with your horse, using fear and pain based techniques that are used to dominate.
